N-Track Studio can record and playback the number of audio, MIDI and sound unlimited. This program also allows you to automatically fade out, fade in and fade out or increase the volume of the music to indicate the voice of the singer. The software allows you to add effects, VST3, DirectX, AU (Mac), VST and ReWire different on each track or channel. N-Track Studio is a recording software allows you record and create MIDI music and sounds top quality. The gui engages my brain, what I see influences what I make, the speed of which I make something and enjoyment I have in using a piece of software besides the motivational aspect.įor me, it doesn't really matter if Presonus go down the skinning route, because I've built my own solution to the problem.Download n-Track Studio Suite 9 - A recording software allows you record and create MIDI music and sounds top quality n-Track Studio Suite: In essence I can't go back to the flat default look of Studio One 3. With that other creative work has taken a backfoot, however when it has come to getting down and creative, the influence on my creativity in actual music has been hugely significant to the point I'm much more inspired, raising the level of my music and engagement of my brain to focus on the type of music I want to make by a factor of 2 or 3. The creative balance between my re-skin project and actual music production time has swung into music for the past 3 weeks since the latest update to Studio One 3 has fixed alot of issue's and improved some area's. Although that aspect is another area I tackled and has been expanded on from, the last project I posted last year. (Not to mention each track/group can be colored too.)Ĭurrently I have over 2000 individual skins designed for Studio One 3 thus far, and as some people around here know, I'm not talking about Studio One's colour profile settings. NOT my choice, but just an example of what can be done in the current version. Here's a Preset if someone doesn't like gray. Nothing will make everybody happy, keep it simple and refine the existing feature set is my hope. I hope they avoid the whole skin concept. More Presets and tuning of the available colors are fine, skins just add a layer of stuff that has to be handled/tested at each update. Maybe not enough for you, but still there is some variety if that's your thing. The screenshot is just one example, it can be tweaked from there. You can already change all the tracks/faders to your choice of 60+ colors, and if you use the "Options/Preferences > General > Appearance > Load Preset" you can get enough variety to cover 95% of the people. Yes, in theory skins are interesting, in practice they make learning/training/discovery tougher, especially when they change the way controls works (knobs become sliders, buttons different sizes/placements, and move things around.) It's a first world issue not having skins. Change the color options to what you like and be done with itĪbsolutely agree: I hope they skip the skins and add functionality, while continuing to refine what is already there. Shanabit wroteThe problem with Reaper skins is stuff is in different places depending on the skin used and some functions are just not there in the skin, Ill pass.
